However, they are well used and rarely overwhelm the songs they feature on. My Best Days by Danny Gokey - Question: Do you have to be from “The South” to be country? Also, does someone from the Midwest–Wisconsin, let’s say–have the right to sing in the country genre? My answers to both questions are, “no” and “yes”, respectively. Danny Gokey, who is a Wisconsin native, attempts to record a country music album, and actually succeeds. His singing is genuine, as well as the production, instrumentation, phrasing and styling, and does not sound insincere unlike someone who would be a “wannabe” country artist. She can master country, ballads, torch, jazz and light rock. Her vocals can be tender, upbeat, sad, inspiring, enthralling and invariably awesome. “Trail Of Broken Hearts” is a melancholic marvel. “Constant Craving” resonates with yearning and will always be a hit. Crazy Heart: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Ltd. Deluxe Edition) (Soundtrack) – The Crazy Heart soundtrack features great country music. I love the theme song “Weary Heart” by Ryan Bingham. His guitar playing and vocals are beautiful and soothing. I didn’t know that Jeff Bridges could sing country. There is no real country singer named Bad Blake, but I can believe that Jeff Bridges is a country singing star after listening to this song. This is a fun song. Another big shock is Colin Farrell.
